Raven Events

We've been The Raven for 13 years this October, so we thought we'd have a Halloween and birthday themed beer festival. Tasty beer and some celebrating are in order!

The Raven is a creative, cultural hub which holds a variety of events each month. Regular gatherings include the Science Cafe, Bath Storytelling Circle and the Artbar. Find out more about each of these events below:

The Science Cafe at The Raven of Bath

The Science Café is a chance to informally explore the latest ideas in science and technology and debate the issues. Held on the second Monday of each month, this group meets at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. All are welcome and entry is FREE!

The Bath Storytelling Circle is a community-based group of oral storytellers, performance poets and folk singers who get together every month to celebrate and promote the modern practice of an ancient oral tradition, through story, poetry and song - and plenty of drink!

Hosted at the Raven by David Metcalfe, a storyteller, folk-singer, guitarist, current convenor and usual host of the Bath Storytelling Circle, this group meets every third Monday of each month at 8.00pm in the upstairs bar. Why not come and join us? Entry is FREE!

Artbar at the Raven of Bath

Artbar is a meeting place for artists. Held on the third Tuesday of every month in the upstairs bar, talks start from 8pm. Why not come early though and enjoy one of our famous pies with mash or chips? A warm welcome awaits you and entry is FREE!
